This is a question rather than a review, is this El Charro the same family that had the restaurant on 6th St.? If so do you still serve that incredible house salad dressing? I remember when restaurant was originally on East St. Many many years ago.
Tamarind micheladas, molchajete, and homemade corn tortillas.... sparkling clean bathroom and a full bar. Great for brunch or a night out. Wish I lived closer!
My chilaquiles were delicious! Service was fast and friendly, the restaurant is clean and cheerful inside. I will be back!
A pleasant spot to eat authentic Mexican food. Their tacos and sopes are amazing. Staff are friendly and welcoming. A home away from home.
El Charro Mexican Restaurant was certainly a great find for us. We've loved everything we've ordered, off their menu, particularly their Chile Rellenos, which are so delicious, perfectly-executed & a cheese lover's dream. This time, I ordered the Steak Ranchero. This dish is swimming in a tasty Ranchero sauce, & has the perfect compliment of bell peppers & onions, to go with their thinly-sliced steak strips. Their crisp tortilla chips & salsa gets us primed, for the ridiculously flavorful food coming out of the kitchen, here. Their service is friendly, & speedy, as well. There are 2 large sections of the restaurant inside, plus a fairly sizable outdoor patio, should it not be too hot outside. The restroom is in the back of the restaurant, jogging left, into secondary dining space.
This is THE BEST mexican food restaurant. We are from Washington state and El Charro is one of our first stops. Taco Trucks are first lol. We really love Woodland too. Nice small town vibe.
The food was great,but we had to flag down the waiter every time we had to order or needed something, even the bill when we were done. The bloody marry was good, too.
